KAAND( Life with a twist)

Well to be fair life is a great rollercoster.I believe the more one enjoys the more fun it offers .So here I am writing down some of those small funny incidents of my life and my friends associated with it.These incidents are what I sweetly refer to as "KAAND".
SPYKAR KAAND
It was a warm morning out here in Kgp . Back from home here we were for our final year registration. While I was preparing my documents for the registration then suddenly Kaantebaaz(Deepesh-Person whose primary objective in life is to make me feel petty, miserable, downtrodden , wretched and of course a good friend of mine) makes a ROYAL entry in my room.I was bit confused as to what was in his mind.Soon I came to know about it when he in Rajnikant style biting the Sutta by the corner of his lips placed one of his Goat(refer to kalua NAIDU) legs on my bed.He pointed me to the label of the cargos he was wearing . Not to mention the air of prideness he had as if he was the emperor of some kingdom of nakeds where only the king wore clothes. It must take a blonde's IQ to guess the brand of the cargo he was wearing.

It wasn't the first time he was wearing branded clothes ( The past ones being gifted by one of his liaisons) but since it was the first time he had bought it so he had to be ostentatious about it.

"Kaanta (unluckily I am also referred by this sweet dainty name) just have a look at my cargo and specially at the label of it. As testified by MOOGLE(Mukul- elephant version of Google) it is something which many desire but only few have it and you aren't one of them."

Having achieved eternity(refer to his sole aim of life) he went out once again in a royal fashion.

Well then both of us had to go to bank.He took out his bike.Today he was in a mood of ostentatiousness so started bragging about his driving skills while driving. Suddenly he steered the bike through one of the muddy potholes(Driving skills!). Now it was God's grace or some magic( kattupan) I was unaffected. Not even the tiniest portion of my cloth was smeared with mud.

Kaantebaaz 's cargoes were however completely smeared with muddy water. At least one feet of the portion of his legs above the shoes were mud coloured. His look transformed from Royalty to that of a wretched peasant(His famous Hindi Drams looks). After this we had to go back to hall.

Since that day I haven't seen him wearing it again.

Lesson Learnt :-" It is good be showy but not in front of your friends who are capable enough of making your life miserable" .

The Role of Responsibility

Nehru Hall, the sweetest gift I received ever since my entry here in IIT. So how was it like when handed over the responsibility of this gift.I really thought in the beginning will I be able to handle the immense pressure that a Gsec Soc n Culture has to when taking up responsibility of a hall known for its achievements in GC Soc n Cult.Beginning right from the very beginning of the year searching talents amongst shiny little petrified second years and then going on with the traditions of organizing and managing one after the other series of events so as to keep the atmosphere vibrant and exciting
So,soon I was so deeply engorsed with my work and really I started enjoying it. During illu times getting hold of people ,encouraging them and working hard to keep the preparations go on with full tempo and fervor,it was really a great time for me.
The nite is still fresh fresh in my memories ,the disappointment we had when the chatais refused to light up followed by the thrill of winning gold in rangoli .
On the other hand the GC was flourishing with chants of "Nehru ka Tempo high hai" after every gold we won.Yes the gold for which we worked like ants continuously with the spirit and energy unmatched and undulating compared to anyone else.
During announcement of result of debate some unknown soul remarked"Yaar iss baar gold kisi ko bhi mil jaye par Nehru ko nahi",That was my hall and one could see the exasperated face of him after we got the gold.
What sets us apart from any other hall and the makes me feel proud about is our unity our oneness which we sweetly refer to as "Nehru Family".
We are one of those few souls who only cherish the gold ,for whom silver and bronze is nothing less than defeat. As one my snrs Gautam Sinha once said "Nehru kewal gold pe tempo shout deta hai" Every defeat make us work even harder and harder .
It is really an honour for me to be a part of this home of dedicated souls who achieved the coveted GC.So was one GC 3 cups enough.Well the momentarily satisfied souls spoke only one thing .When will the next session start for soon we will be hungry again and this time the hunger will be even more than before.
Yo Nehru
